The occurrence of FA and
carbonyl compounds (acetaldehyde, acrolein, EC, formaldehyde and furfural) was studied in this research with the objective of verifying, for the first time, the risk of exposure to these compounds through consumption of sparkling wines.
To achieve the quantitative analysis of low molecular
carbonyl compounds, the standards gas was made by the gasification of standards solution in a 2 L glass container as described in our previous study [21].
Carbonyl compounds constitute the major aromatic substances in yoghurt [13, 14].
However, in oxidative stress, excessive ROS oxidize unsaturated fatty acids and produce a large amount of highly reactive [alpha],[beta]-unsaturated
carbonyl compounds, that is, lipid peroxides.
Carbonyl compounds and cyanides were estimated gravimetrically, whereas, phenols were determined by direct photometric method.
Later, pre paration of the Fmoc-protected aza-arginine precursor was accomplished according to Scheme 1A, using reductive amination of 3-([N.sup.[omega]],[N.sup.[omega]]-di-Boc-guanidyf) propanal with Fmoc hydrazine, while the required
carbonyl compound was prepared by guanylation of 3-amino-propanol with N,N'-bis-Boc-S-methylisothiourea, followed by oxidation with the Dess-Martin reagent [12].
"Although the data are preliminary, we found that patients with an elevation of three or four cancer-specific
carbonyl compounds was predictive of lung cancer in 95% of patients with a pulmonary nodule or mass," Dr.
Kita, "Xray structures of NADPH-dependent carbonyl reductase from Sporobolomyces salmonicolor provide insights into stereo-selective reductions of
carbonyl compounds," Journal of Molecular Biology, vol.
Among the wide array of VOC groups,
carbonyl compounds (CC) are known to play an important role in secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formation and the associated alteration of climate conditions [2].
The products of Mannich reaction are mainly [beta]-Amino
carbonyl compounds and their derivatives are mainly products of Mannich reactions and significant synthetic intermediates for various pharmaceuticals and natural products [2-6].
