COPM

An individualized and standardized outcome measure designed for use by occupational therapists to assess clients' perceptions of change in their ability to perform the activities and tasks of daily living. The client identifies problems in daily function that are then measured on the basis of performance and client satisfaction.

A client-centered evaluation of occupational performance, i.e., with the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) [7], can help account for individual changes.
For example Goal Attainment Scaling (Weidenbohm, Parsons, & Dixon, 2005), Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (Law et al, 1994) and the Self Identified Goals Assessment (Melville, Baltic, Bettcher, & Nelson, 2003).

Participants were excluded if they left the program without the therapy team's consent, were under the age limit, or if the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) was not completed on the day of discharge.
