Phialophora richardsiae(redirected from Cadophora richardsiae)
Phialophora richardsiaeA soft-rot fungus of wood, the colonies of which grow rapidly and are powdery to woolly, or tufted and greyish-brown. Human infections with Phialophora richardsiae are rare (with less than a dozen reports in the world literature); they are largely confined to the skin and occur in older patients with underlying diabetes or malignancy.
