GUCY2F(redirected from CYGF)
GUCY2FA gene on chromosome Xq22 that encodes a guanylyl cyclase found predominantly in photoreceptors in the retina. It is thought to be involved in resynthesis of cGMP after light activation of the visual signal transduction cascade, allowing the photoreceptors to return to the dark state after phototransduction.
