program, loosely based on the Army's CSF2 program, is comprehensive
The Army supplements the online CSF2 training with certified master
The SNPs of three candidate genes (PTH, CSF2, FOLR1) were chosen to linkage map on pig chromosomes with BerkshirexYorkshire (BxY) family (Malek et al., 2001) using the CRIMAP (version 2.4) mapping program (Green et al., 1990).
Three candidate genes (PTH, CSF2 and FORL1) were chosen as anchor loci to determine the precise linkage with QTL on SSC2, and their SNPs were genotyped at a three-generation BerkshirexYorkshire reference family (Malek et al., 2001).
The network analysis of the 181 AF-MSC-specific genes was done using the STRING tool and predicted 4 different clusters (Figure 7): cluster 1 displayed the patterning and embryonic development related HOX genes such as the homeobox B7 (HOXB7), cluster 2 contained the immunity-related gene (e.g., CSF2), and cluster 3 included the extracellular matrix- (ECM-) related gene set (e.g., laminin subunit alpha 3 (LAMA 3)) whereas cluster 4 showed the WNT pathway and signalling-related gene set which includes WNT10A.
The cytokines CCL2, CXCL1, CXCL12, CSF2, ICAM, IL-6, IL-8, IL-21, MIF, and SERPINE1 were detected by protein arrays in cell culture supernatant from AF-MSCs.
The CSF2 GAT, an annual requirement for all Soldiers, consists of 105 questions and was developed in part by Seligman et al (25) and others (26) to assess fitness in 4 psychosocial dimensions: emotional, social, family, and spiritual fitness.
A total of 14,850 participants completed the CSF2 GAT physical domain pilot questions and consented for their data to be used for further study.
Per an established data use agreement, personal identifying information was removed from the CSF2 data (thus waiving the requirement for Institutional Review Board approval), which was then provided to researchers for analysis.
(53) The pilot questions will be validated through a collaborative study between CSF2 and the Consortium for Health and Military Performance at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
