CEBPE

A gene on chromosome 14q11.2 that encodes a transcription factor which binds as a homodimer to various DNA regulatory regions, and as a heterodimer to CEBP-delta. CEBP-epsilon is thought to be critical for the terminal differentiation and functional maturation of committed granulocyte progenitors.

Molecular pathology
CEPBE mutations are linked to specific granule deficiency.

For example, under CRP1 the South Central and Southeast Regions sequestered 37 and 26% of the sequestered total C respectively because of their high proportion of forestland.
Average C density was different among regions and C pools as illustrated using CRP1 simulations results [ILLUSTRATION FOR FIGURE 4 OMITTED].
The return of 56% of the CRP1 land to agriculture reduced total C in comparison to CRP2 and CRP3.
