However, large differences of CEC existed for topsoil (5.3 cmol+/kg) and subsoil (20.3 cmol +/kg) of Byron soils, whereas smaller differences of CEC occurred within Class 8D for topsoil (12.9 cmol+/kg) and subsoil (15.1 cmol+/kg).
However, he added that actions that would be undertaken on the CMOL would have to be consulted first with Energy Secretary Carlos Jericho L.

A subsample was taken to be chemically analyzed and presented the following characteristics: Ca = 4.63 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; Mg = 2.39 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; Na = 0.30 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; K = 0.76 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; Sum of bases - SB = 8.08 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; H = 0.00 cmol [dm.sup.-3]; Al = 0.00 cmol [dm.sup.-3]; CEC = 8.08 and organic matter = 1.88 %.
O solo apresenta textura areia franca e as seguintes caracteristicas quimicas: pH=5,5; P (melich1)=3,3 mg [dm.sup.-3]; K=74,28 mg [dm.sup.-3]; [Na.sup.+]= 0,2 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; H+Al= 11,22 cmol [dm.sup.-3]; Al=0,2 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; Ca=3,05 cmol [dm.sup.-3]; Mg=1,25 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; SB=4,75 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; CTC=15,97 [cmol.sub.c] [dm.sup.-3]; V=29,74%; m=4,04%; M.O.=8,65 g [kg.sup.-1].
