non-bullous congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma

A non-bullous ichthyosis (OMIM:242100)—a skin disorder characterised by abnormal cornification of the epidermis—that is milder than lamellar ichthyosis and has a greater variability in intensity of erythema, size and type of scales. Here, the scales are usually white, fine and powdery, and accompanied by palmoplantar keratoderma, often with painful fissures, digital contractures and loss of pulp volume.

Molecular pathology

The results are expressed in the form of space gamut for several laser powers (1 [micro]W/mA, 6 [micro]W/mA, 12 [micro]W/mA), as well as the color difference CIE LAB [DELTA]E for characteristic colors (CMYK RGB).

For a better visualization of the result, the final image can be normalized for using all values between 0-255, whereas CIE Lab space does not have such a large range.
