CIA01

A gene on chromosome 2q11.2 that encodes a member of the WD-repeat protein family that is an essential component of the cytosolic iron-sulphur (Fe/S) protein assembly machinery, and is required for the maturation of extramitochondrial Fe/S proteins. CIA01 is thought to specifically modulate the transactivation activity of WT1; it may play a role in chromosome segregation as part of the mitotic spindle-associated MMXD complex.

Present study was aimed to check the response of bacteria isolated from external surface (CXA2 and CXA3) and rectum part (CIA1, CIA2, CIA3) of Periplaneta americana (captured from kitchen sewerage) towards biofilm formation and auto aggregation.
Table-3: Biochemical descriptions of isolates from external (CXA2, CXA3)and internal surface of cockroaches (CIA1, CIA2, CIA3).
Cultural and biochemical characterization of isolates: Five bacterial isolates from cockroach; CIA1, CIA2, CIA3, CXA2 and CXA3 were characterized using its colony morphology.
Clear zone formation of isolates CIA1, CIA3 and CXA3 in starch hydrolysis test was observed as positive results while CIA2 and CXA2 showed negative results for starch hydrolysis.
In the CIA pathway, MET18 and other subunits, such as CIA1, CIA2, and nuclear architecture-related protein 1 (NAR1), form a CIA complex in which MET18 functions as a delivering agent by directly interacting with the target protein and transferring the Fe/S cluster to the protein, leading to the maturation of Fe/S proteins [11, 12].
In addition, merchants challenged the Environmental Assessment process that ignored immigrants who do not speak English well and were discouraged to participate in public meetings, because "all of the information is presented on boards and in oral presentations in English" (Community Agency Interviewee CIA1, November 10, 2005).
