NUDT21

A gene on chromosome 16q12.2 that encodes a component of the cleavage factor Im (CFIm) complex that plays a key role in pre-mRNA 3'-processing, including in 3'-end poly(A) site cleavage and poly(A) addition, and possibly also in mRNA export. It interacts with CPSF6, CPSF7, PABPN1, PAPOLA, and SNRNP70.
