Connecting for Health

An NHS agency which is part of the UK Department of Health Informatics Directorate, and responsible for developing and maintaining the NHS national IT infrastructure, improving patient choice and positively transforming the (information-related experience of patients, clinicians, and NHS staff.

CfH’s components include N3 spine, Choose and Book, picture archiving and communication systems, electronic prescriptions and electronic patient records.
