CES3

CES3

A gene on chromosome 16q22.1 that encodes a carboxylesterase which plays a role in detoxifying xenobiotics (e.g., cocaine and heroin) and in activating ester and amide prodrugs. It is primarily expressed in the intestine and liver.

Recognized dystocia scores were CES1 = no problem, CES2 = slight problem, CES3 = needed assistance, CES4 = considerable force, CES5 = extreme difficulty.
Now, Cambridge Engineering Selector (CES3), developed by Granta Design Limited, Cambridge, UK, in collaboration with Cambridge University's Engineering Department, enables engineers to match their design requirements with the best materials, shapes and manufacturing routes available.
Professor of engineering at Cambridge University and chairman of Granta Design Limited, Michael Ashby, says CES3 arms the engineer with the full set of information and analysis to help them make the best possible design decisions.

Real-time RT-PCR also suggests that carboxylesterase 3 (CES3) was down-regulated by AhR ligands.
PTM also revealed several genes, including C-CAM4, CAP2, SERPIN7A, CES3, and expressed sequence tags (ESTs) not yet associated with the AhR signaling pathway (Table 3).
