The College attracts funding under the National Smarter Schools' Partnership--Low SES and is part of the CEDP system of schools.
In 2010 the College was invited by the CEDP to join a pilot program entitled the Numeracy Now Project that adopted the Inquiry and Knowledge Building Cycle (Timperley, 2008) to inform teacher learning.
Participation in the Numeracy Now Project initially involved the Principal and School Mathematics Leader participating in a six-day professional learning course that focused on instructional leadership in mathematics; development and implementation of a school action plan that was supported by CEDP teaching educators; assessment of students using the Mathematics Assessment Interview (MAI) (Clarke et al., 2002); and provision of the Extending Mathematical Understanding Intervention Program (Gervasoni et al., 2012) for students who are mathematically vulnerable.
Key to the success of the Numeracy Now Project was collaboration with an academic partner, and support from CEDP in adopting a leadership triad (team) model that included the College Principal, a teaching educator from the CEDP and one of the College's lead teachers.
In this section, we use the cloud simulator CloudSim to simulate the hybrid cloud environment and the data placement method cEdP.
Figure 4 shows the comparison of the employed PMs by CEDP, DT_RU, and DP_DIS with 4 different scales of datasets for data placement in private cloud.
Although we employ more PMs than DT_RU, it does not mean DP_DIS is more energy efficient than CEDP, as the data access processes also consume a certain amount of energy.
Figure 5 shows the comparison of the total energy consumption with different scale of datasets by using CEDP, DT_RU, and DP_DIS.
“Restoration in the highly regulated healthcare and government sectors mandates broad-based industry specific knowledge and we are proud to have Bitton on board as the first CEDP credentialed Restoration/Disaster Response industry professional,” remarked Warner Cruz, president.
Differentiation of CEDPs in Alginate (Pronova, Oslo, Norway).
A total of 0.2 mL of normal saline (n = 5) or alginate-hydrogel with CEDPs (n = 10) was administered by six intramyocardial injections in the anterolateral LV wall, as in previous experiments [24] occasional bleeding stopped after light pressure was applied locally.
Thus, under the protocol described above propagation of a cardiac/endothelial dual-progenitor population (called CEDPs) was achieved.
