SIRPB1A gene on chromosome 20p13 that encodes an immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor which downregulates various receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled signalling processes. It is present in monocytes and dendritic cells and interacts with TYROBP, resulting in SYK recruitment.
