CCL14(redirected from CC-3)
CCL14A gene on chromosome 17q11.2 that encodes a CC-type cytokine, which is characterised by two adjacent cysteines and, as with all cytokines, is involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. CCL13 binds CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5, induces changes in intracellular calcium concentration and enzyme release in monocytes, but no chemotaxis. It enhances the proliferation of CD34 myeloid stem cells.
