RAB25A gene on chromosome 1q22 that encodes a member of the Rab subfamily of Ras-related small GTPases, which mediates intracellular protein and membrane trafficking and regulation of cell survival.
RAB25 increases the rates of ovarian and breast cancers’ progression and aggressiveness by modulating proliferation, survival and migration of tumour cells.
