CACNG3

A gene on chromosome 16p12.1 that encodes a gamma subunit of a voltage-dependent calcium channel, which regulates AMPA-selective glutamate receptor (AMPAR) trafficking and gating. It promotes
AMPAR targeting to the cell membrane and synapses, and it modulates their gating properties by slowing their activation, deactivation and desensitisation.
