CACA boxMolecular biology
A conserved sequence or box of DNA oligonucleotides, located 93 residues upstream from the the β globin gene. The CACA box is essential for TFIID recruitment to the uPAR core promoter, and plays a role in regulating transcription by acting as binding site.
