CHST1(redirected from C6ST)
CHST1A gene on chromosome 11p11.2 that encodes a carbohydrate sulfotransferase, which participates in biosynthesis of selectin ligands. Selectin ligands are present in high endothelial cells and play a central role in lymphocyte homing to sites of inflammation. It is widely expressed at low levels, especially in brain and skeletal muscle.
