MRC1(redirected from C-type lectin domain family 13 member D)
MRC1A gene on chromosome 10p12.33 that encodes a C-type lectin domain protein which is a type-I membrane receptor. MRC1 mediates the endocytosis of glycoproteins by macrophages by binding to high-mannose structures on the surface of viruses, bacteria and fungi, so as to facilitate engulfment by phagocytes.
