Buzzard’s manoeuvre

A manoeuvre that enhances the patellar reflex, which consists of pointing the toe or having the patient stand on tiptoes while the quadriceps tendon is tapped; described by English physician Thomas Buzzard (1831–1919), it is no longer used in the working medical parlance.
