Burnet

(bər-nĕt′, bûr′nĭt), Sir (Frank) Macfarlane 1899-1985.
Australian virologist. He shared a 1960 Nobel Prize for work on acquired immune tolerance, a state of suppressed immunity necessary for organ transplantation.
