Burdach’s fibres

A term of waning use and uncertain utility dignifying the axonal fibres of the cuneate fasciculus of the medulla oblongata, described by Karl Friedrich Burdach (1776–1847), a German anatomist and physiologist. It is no longer used in the working medical parlance.
