brunneroma

A circumscribed proliferation of Brunner’s glands in the distal antrum/D1 segment of the proximal duodenum with normal overlying foveolae, which appear as small clusters of glands separated by minimal smooth muscle fibres. For diagnosis, the glands should fill the submucosa.
