Brouwer’s diffuse cerebellar atrophy

An obsolete, nonspecific term for a form of diffuse rapidly progressive cerebellar atrophy, characterised by ataxia, nystagmus and dysarthria beginning in middle life, and variously regarded as either hereditary or paraneoplastic in nature.
