Brock sign

Brock sign

An obsolete term that formerly dignified neck stiffness with or without flexion of the lower limbs (a variation of Brudzinski's nuchal sign), originally thought to be relatively specific for cerebral abscesses, but which may also be seen in all forms of increased intracranial pressure capable of causing conomedullary herniation.
