The UK's international cultural relations body, which was founded in 1934 to improve the understanding of Britain across the world.

Activities
Arranges for lecturers and books to be sent overseas, supports British institutes and societies and English schools in other countries, arranges visits for individuals to the UK, and organises music performances and art exhibitions.
