BOAS

Bank of America Study. A health-intervention trial in which retirees were separated into 3 groups and health-risk assessment performed with individual feedback and self-management material sent through the mail.

Health risk-factor scores, self-reported healthcare utilisation, health claims experience.
 
Results
Health increased, health habits changed favourably, doctor visits and hospitalisations decreased.
