WDR5

A gene on chromosome 9q34 that encodes a member of the WD-repeat protein family, which are involved in various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis and gene regulation. WDR5 contributes to histone modification and may regulate osteoblast differentiation.
