MYO18B(redirected from BK125H2.1)
MYO18BA gene on chromosome 22q12.1 that encodes an actin- and ATP-binding motor protein, which is thought to be involved in intracellular trafficking when located in the cytoplasm, and regulation of muscle specific genes once in the nucleus.
MYO18B may play a role in controlling tumour development and progression; restoration of MYO18B expression in lung cancer cells suppresses anchorage-independent growth.
