Auerbach ganglia - collections of parasympathetic nerve cells in the myenteric plexus.
Auerbach plexus - a plexus of unmyelinated fibers and postganglionic autonomic cell bodies lying in the muscular coat of the esophagus, stomach, and intestines. Synonym(s): myenteric plexus
