Ashworth scale (1-5)
Ash·worth scale (1-5)(ash'wŏrth skāl)
A commonly used clinical measure of spasticity that scores the amount of increase in muscle tone with positive movement. A modified scale uses scores of 0-4 and includes additional ratings at the lower end so as to render the scale more discrete.
