APASSAntiPhospholipid Antibody Stroke Study. A substudy of WARSS (Warfarin Aspirin Recurrent Stroke Study), which asked whether antiphospholipid antibodies (APLs) are an independent risk factor for recurrent stroke.
Conclusion APLs are an independent, albeit weak, risk factor for the risk of stroke.
