ANXA1

A gene on chromosome 9q21.13 that encodes annexin 1, a calcium/phospholipid-binding protein that promotes membrane fusion and is involved in exocytosis. Annexin 1 regulates phospholipase A2 activity and thus may have anti-inflammatory activity.
