ANGPTL2

A gene on chromosome 9q34 that encodes angiopoietin-like protein 2, which induces sprouting in endothelial cells through an autocrine and paracrine actions. It is broadly expressed in heart, small intestine, spleen and stomach. ANGPTL2 has also previously been used for ANGPTL4.
