A “tweak factor” for assessing prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, which may be factored into the decision to refer a patient for a prostate biopsy.

6.5 Age 70
4.5 Age 60–70
3.5 Age 50–60
2.5 Age 40–50
More sensitive in young men; less sensitive in older men.
