Nodal involvement is rare in adult soft tissue sarcomas but, when present, has a very poor prognosis.
K: Lymph Nodes.--With the exception of epithelioid sarcoma and clear cell sarcoma of soft parts, regional lymph node metastasis is uncommon in adult soft tissue sarcomas. Nodes are not sampled routinely, and it usually is not necessary to exhaustively search for nodes.
