Adrenal Fatigue

A so-called condition "treated" in alternative medicine, referring to the belief that the adrenal glands are unable to produce adequate cortisol and other adrenocortical hormones. The term is not recognised by mainstream endocrinologists and is not to be confused with clinically defined acute or chronic adrenal insufficiency.
