Adrenal Cortex Extract

An adrenal gland extract of animal origin which may be used by alternative health practitioners for managing obesity and various other conditions. Adrenal cortex extracts are not FDA-approved, not prepared by the GMP (good manufacturing practice standards) required for pharmaceuticals, and may be infected—e.g., with Mycobacterium abscessus.
