ACAD8(redirected from Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family member 8)
ACAD8A gene on chromosome 11q25 that encodes an isobutyryl-CoA dehydrogenase that functions in valine catabolism, and which plays a role in transcriptional coactivation within the ARC complex.
Defects in ACAD8 cause isobutyryl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency.
