Occupational therapy (OT) programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE[R]) currently include EBP in their Accreditation Standards for a Master's-Degree-Level Educational Program for the Occupational Therapist and for an Associate-Degree-Level Educational Program for the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA; ACOTE, 2012).

Based on this information, the author consulted the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) Standards and Interpretive Guide, the Standards of Practice for Occupational Therapy, and the FWPE for the Occupational Therapy Student for selection of domains and items (American Occupational Therapy Association [AOTA], 2002; AOTA, 2010; AOTA, 2011).
The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) is responsible for overseeing this process in the United States (American Occupational Therapy Association [AOTA], 2016b).
