Antithrombotics in the Secondary Prevention of Events in Coronary Thrombosis 2 A trial comparing morbidity and mortality of coumadin alone, coumadin + aspirin, and aspirin alone in patients with an acute coronary event or unstable angina.
Conclusion Bad outcome composite—first myocardial infarction, stroke, death occurred in 9% of aspirin patients and in 5% of coumadin or coumadin + aspirin patients.
