ARL4C

A gene on chromosome 2q37.1 that encodes a GTP-binding protein of the ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) family; it has a nuclear localisation signal and a very high guaninine-nucleotide exchange rate, and may be involved in cholesterol transport.
