EIF2C4

A gene on chromosome 1p34 that encodes a protein required for RNA-mediated gene silencing by the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), binding to short RNAs, such as microRNAs or short interfering RNAs, and repressing the translation of mRNAs complementary to them. EIF2C3 lacks endonuclease activity and does not appear to cleave target mRNAs; it interacts with EIF4B, IMP8, PRMT5, TNRC6A and TNRC6B.

Argonaute proteins typically have a molecular weight of~ 100 kDa and can be divided into two subfamilies: AGO subfamily (e.g., AGO1, AGO2, AGO3, and AGO4 in mammals) that binds to miRNAs and siRNAs and PIWI subfamily (HIWI/PIWIL1, HILI/PIWIL2, HIWI2/PIWIL4, and HIWI3/PIWIL3) that binds to piRNAs [4].
Physical therapy is a very ancient field with some forms of it practiced around 3000 years ago4 but in 1813, it was introduced as a profession which was further seeded by the establishment of Chartered Society of Physical Therapy (CSP) and initiation of physical therapy schools and courses in the western world.
I also suggested an alternative to dissertation more than a decade ago4. The critical appraisal of research and its evaluation in the examination (in the form of MCQs, SEQs or even TOACS) will ensure that the trainee has acquired the essential knowledge in epidemiology and statistics as it applied to clinical studies.

The complex binds to siRNA by PAZ domain of AGO4 protein and is directed to the homologous DNA sequence for gene silencing at transcriptional level (TGS).
