ADRB2(redirected from ADRB2R)
ADRB2A gene on chromosome 5q31-q32 that encodes beta-2-adrenergic receptor, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily, which mediates catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase. ADRB2 binds epinephrine with a 30-fold greater affinity than it does with norepinephrine.
