This study observed that acupuncture impacts the protein expressions of CRH, ACTHR, and GR in the normal model rats.
The increase of GR protein expression induced the negative feedback inhibition on CRH protein expression, downregulated ACTHR overexpression in the pituitary gland and adrenal cortex, decreased GC level, and reduced GR activity in the adrenal cortex and the protein expression.
