AKAP4(redirected from A-kinase anchor protein 4)
AKAP4A gene on chromosome Xp11.2 that encodes a member of the structurally diverse A-kinase anchor protein (AKAP) family, which binds to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A, confining the enzyme to discrete locations within the cell. AKAP4 localises to sperm flagella and may be involved in regulating sperm motility.
