Urine which, in acidic pH, may be due to excretion of picric acid, dinitrophenol, phenacetin or chrysarobin or in alkaline pH, to increased secretion of anthocyanin, or associated with ingestion of beets or blackberries. Pure yellow urine is associated with increased acriflavine and has a green fluorescence; yellow-orange urine may be highly concentrated or contain increased bilirubin and biliverdin

Signs and Symptoms The common symptoms of dehydration include sticky and dry mouth, low urine output as well as dark yellow urine, sunken eye and lethargy.
If you start to get pains in your joints, headaches, strong smelling yellow urine and constipation, it may be a sign that you are dehydrated, and thus not getting enough water to replace what is lost.
Apart from excessive thirst and a dry mouth, the symptoms of dehydration are dark yellow urine, severe weakness or lethargy.
