Etymology: Gk, xanthos + opsis, sight
an abnormal visual condition in which everything appears to have a yellow hue. It is sometimes associated with jaundice or digitalis toxicity.
xanthopsia
A condition in which all objects appear of a yellow colour. It may occur as a result of picric acid and santonin poisoning, or jaundice. Syn. yellow vision. See chromatopsia.
