A. Asthma is more common and childhood, and in many cases disappears with age, so asthma during childhood isn't essentially a life-long disease. However, as the child grows the chances the disease will persist are higher.

Children may have more difficulties learning how to use the various inhalers. Also, children may be more prone to the growth problems the disease may cause, and also more prone to infections that may cause exacerbations of the disease.
